Waterproofing Solution for Gateaux House’s bread manufacturing facility in Thailand
Gateaux House, a commercial bread manufacturing facility, was facing persistent roof leakage issues that affected its production operations. Despite multiple repairs using conventional waterproofing materials, the problem continued.
The Challenge
The factory owner had been struggling with persistent roof leaks, particularly along the gutters and roof edges.
Over time, water ingress caused repeated disruptions in the production area below, affecting daily operations. Conventional waterproofing materials had been applied several times but failed to deliver a long-term solution. Repairs were frequent, costly, and ineffective.
With hygiene and production continuity being critical, the client needed a reliable system that would permanently eliminate leaks without major downtime.
The Solution
To resolve the issue effectively and permanently, our certified partner prepared the existing roof surface and applied the Triflex ProDetail system — a PMMA (polymer-modified methyl methacrylate) waterproofing solution reinforced with fleece.
The application process included:
Thorough substrate preparation and cleaning
Full-surface adhesion
Seamless sealing of critical edges, gutters, and joints
The Triflex system fully adheres to the substrate, creating a seamless, monolithic waterproofing layer. All gutters, edges, and critical joints were securely sealed, allowing the roof to accommodate movement without cracking.
Thanks to its crack-bridging properties and full-surface bonding, this solution effectively stopped water ingress and eliminated the recurring leak issues.
